FireFox: Set Cache Frequency

This article will take you through the steps to change the frequency in refreshing the cache in the FireFox browser.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Open FireFox browser

  2. In the address by, type about:config

  3. You will see a long list of settings with a "Search" bar at the top of the page. In the Search box, type browser.cache.check_doc_frequency

  4. Double click on the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency line to edit it

  5. Change the value to 1

  6. Press OK to save the change
