Slack: Open a Zoom Session in Slack

You can activate a quick Zoom session with a person or group in Zoom. 

 Instructions

  1. In the message bar of the individual or group, type /zoom

  2. When you are setting it up for the first time, you will be asked to configure Zoom to associate it with your USU account the first time. Select Authorize Zoom to connect Slack and Zoom together. (See Zoom tutorial for settings if you have not yet set up your USU Zoom account.)

3. When you execute the /zoom command, you will see the option to join the Zoom meeting.
