Microsoft: License Key to Activate Windows

 Problem

Windows says that it needs a license key to be activated.

 Solution

This generally happens if you have been off-campus and have not accessed the USU network on the VPN.

1. Open the VPN client and log in using your A# and secure password.

2. Keep the VPN client open and connected for roughly 30 minutes and that should give the Microsoft server enough time to verify your license with the university.
