A note of caution: Please keep in mind that open wifi hotspots ARE NOT SECURE and can open you up to all kinds of problems if you aren’t careful. 

Ensure that any device you use to access a wifi hotspot connects with either a personal VPN or the USU VPN before you conduct any personal or University business over the connection. This is especially important if you need to use the hotspots for personal banking or purchasing of items or work-sensitive matters.
