   1. A lot of our LHR will have obsolete/old formating, we can update the fixed fields and 007, reformat the 866 fields to 853/863 or we can just update the minimum as outlined here.

      1. To edit/update fixed fields, click on the + symbol to the left of the field (which will expand the field)

      2. To close fixed fields: Apply or if opened by mistake: Cancel

   2. 008 field.

      1. Required: change Receipt or Acquisition from: 4 to 5 (not currently received):

      2. Image Added

      3. Optional: fix 007 field codes:

         • Category: z to t (text)

         • Material Designation: u to a (print)

         • Or, if monograph: x (single part item) – I haven’t had to do one of these yet.

         • 863a [serial] or 852z [mono]

         • Image Added

c. Change 866 to 853/863, using our Sierra holdings record as a guide; change Summary from listing a summary of the 866 text to the text: Local Holdings Available

e. Type in the text in fields 853/863 to current holdings as listed in Sierra

4. Edit: ; Validate record

5. Action: ; Add record

1. In OCLC Browser: View; Display local holdings

2. Edit; Editing local holdings record

3. To edit fixed fields, click on the + symbol to the left of the field (which will expand the field)

   Some of these will be in the old 866 format,

4. if easy to do, go ahead and convert them to the standard 853/863 fields and change Summary if detailed, to Local holdings available

otherwise, update the old 866 and change Summary if detailed, to Local holdings available
