Sierra: Deleting a load of records

You will need a Create Lists Review file of records

Use extreme caution to make sure only the records you want to Delete are in your review file.

1. Go to Function: Delete Records; Review Review file: Load: Overlaid records for [name of file]

   • Start will bring in the records

   Open

   

   If you have an excel file to compare the Delete list you can pull it up to do so now.

   • Delete the listed Bibliographic record AND all attached records ← choose this one

     • Make double sure you have the correct Create Lists Review File!

   • deep breath: then click Delete Records

     • You will be asked: Are you absolutely sure?

     • Click Yes (if you are absolutely sure)

       Open

       

• A box will pop up with showing the resulting deletes
