Herbarium Label printing

Airtable: Herbarium Remote Cataloging

1. Go to Completed Cataloging view

2. Go to the Sierra OPAC Link for each title and print a copy of the Online Catalog entry.

3. Copy the Barcode and go to Sierra app.

Sierra App:

1. Search barcode for each title.

2. Check for Jacket (if check marked, print two labels for that book),

3. Print the label using the label template: Herbarium9

• Book:

• Serial - will often not have separate item records for the issues in Herbarium

  • (Holdings records should be edited to include the volumes/issues held in Herb.):

• Again, if there is a dust jacket.  Print labels for both the item and the dust jacket and place on both. 

In Airtable:

1. Staple label(s) to Online catalog printout.

2. Go to the Label Printed column and click in the Checkmark box.

3. Take label(s) and printouts to the Intermountain Herbarium for attachment.
