Software Description

Obsidian is a Markdown file reader. It sits on top of any relevant files in a designated folder or vault and enables users to write, edit and interlink their notes. It's built for taking notes quickly and adding bidirectional links.

Company’s clarification on education use:
A commercial license is required if a good percentage of your Obsidian usage is directly work-related (e.g., you frequently need to look up things in your vault to do your work).

Hi Garth,

Since I assume the university library won't be directly making revenue like most companies, you can use it without a paid commercial license.
