Loaned help from SCA discussion - looked at it from various points of view. Conclusion: probably won’t work well. Training is somewhat time intensive. Would take more time to get them up to date on things than it would for us to keep going on our own. Quality control issues, etc.

The discussion with Todd, Margaret, LaLine agreed with their assessment.

 

Capacity discussion - on Supervisor interface they want:

  • Current capacity

  • What has a hard deadline, what doesn’t

  • Which items are due in the next two weeks

  • What number do we use as a cap on non-pauseable projects

  • How many days do they add when the cap is reached

LaLine, Timeline & Capacity working group

Need to figure out our own capacity first before they can hang their hat on it.

Slack channel can also be a great way to explain what is going on.

What they are requesting should be taken care of during the due date discussion with Branson during the Pre-Digitization Assessment workflow.

Rename what is on their interface to show what is pauseable/non-pauseable

 

Can we add curator conversations into the Assessment interface for Branson?
