Did you know you can use Confluence for a lightweight presentation? Look no further!

How to use presenter mode

  • Go to the More actions (...) menu while viewing a page, and click Present to give it a spin

  • Follow the guidelines from this template to make sure your page looks its best

๐Ÿ’ก Tips for a great presentation

  • Use the arrow buttons or the arrow keys on your keyboard to focus on one part of the page at a time

  • Keep your points concise and explain details verbally - don't show big chunks of text on the screen

  • Layouts are a helpful option to support your talking points

Quotes are also helpful to illustrate a point, but try to keep it under 250 words (like a tweet!)

Tables are a great way to organize and visualize data. Try to keep your tables small and concise as to not overwhelm your participants.

Use the /file slash command to seamlessly include an image or a gif

๐Ÿ–ฅ Take it a step further by adding a header image

It'll display in full screen at the top of your page if you simply hover over the page title in edit mode, and select the add header image option


Lastly, don't forget

Most participants will only remember a few takeaways from the presentations they attend

to summarize

So repeating the key takeaways will be key(blue star)

your main points
