What can I do if the internet becomes slower as more people get on?

One option is to change the channel you are working on. When you set up your home network, the modem will pick a channel to use. Old modems used 1 of 2 channels. Those default channels are becoming saturated as more people are accessing them. The user can change their channel to a number of different channels, which can help with speed.
